![]() We will not be held responsible for any damage to your property or any claims resulting from where the delivery is left. If we leave the goods anywhere other than adjacent to the main roadway any liability for damage to any property will be yours. Some goods are delivered direct from the manufacturers – they may have even larger vehicles. ![]() We will make delivery with either a 7.5-tonne vehicle or a large van for courier deliveries. Please ensure that sufficient space is cleared before delivery. We will leave the product in a safe location adjacent to the main roadway, but off of any public highways. No one wants to carry fence panels any further than they have to!! Try to ensure that the road is clear so the driver can get his lorry as close to your property as possible. We will also need your help in preparing the delivery site, as well as access to and from it. Our drivers are all human beings – if you help them, they will be more inclined to help you!!!! We recognise that not everyone will be able to help the driver unload – or even want to help. They will try to help, but will have to refuse your request. Please don’t ask them to carry your goods to the rear of your property. Please remember that yours may not be their only delivery of the day and that unloading tonnes of fencing everyday is hard work. We want you to be happy, but we also want our drivers to be safe and well. We recognise that where the delivery is left can sometimes be a contentious issue. We ask our drivers to be as flexible as they can – but the final decision will remain with them. If we are unable to make a delivery or there is a delay due to access issues, there will be an additional charge. Our Health and Safety Policy and the growing insurance liabilities prevent us from entering your property for access and should you live in a flat, or a terraced house for example, we will still only be able to deliver to that point of the property adjacent to the roadway. Unfortunately the product cannot be taken around the back of the property and we typically plan to deliver to the front garden or drive. In reality - we will typically try to deliver to your front garden or driveway – We will leave the product in a safe location adjacent to the main roadway, but off of any public highways. The delivery service you are paying for is for either our staff, or one of our delivery contractors, to deliver your goods to your kerbside. We want you to be happy with the products you have bought and the service you have paid for.
